Aloha Friday was started by Kailani at An Island Life.
The way it works is every Friday you post a random question and get comments/answers from fellow bloggers.
My favorite question this Friday:
In our current economy, do you find that you are saving more, or actually shopping/spending more because everything is on sale?
I have found that I am more aware of how and when I spend money, but I am actually taking on more home improvement projects and the like because there are such great deals on almost everything right now.

Hmmm. . . great question! I'm not saving more as in actually putting $$ in our savings account, but I am saving in the respect that I am not SPENDING near as much!! I really am trying to be more frugal and wise with what I buy!
I think we are more aware of what we are using money for. Still the costs are going up and we get less for what we used to pay. So most of the time it seems like we are spending more.
That's a hard one. I don't nearly shop as much, and I'm not saving.
I think we're trying to recoup what we lost in the stock market! But we are saving a little bit & definitely not eating out as much.
Of course the economy takes a digger as soon as we go to one paycheck. Or else I would have been shopping like a mad woman! So instead we have been saving.... BOOOOO!!!
I find that I am spending less and being more frugal.
hmmm...good question.
I really don't feel I've felt the crunch yet...I just keep putting it out of my mind I guess.
So, I'd have to say I'm about the same. Maybe I keep telling myself this will be over soon.
Now that I'm out on maternity, I'm definitely trying not to spend as much.
I am spending less on groceries. My husband's work has decreased some, so we have decreased our overall spending. We have a small savings for emergencies, beyond that we just pay off our last debt.
Although if we had the cash we would be buying a used Tahoe or Sequoia right now. I think we could find some great deals.
since we just moved - spending more, definately!
thanks for stooping by and commenting on my blog!
I'm sure that I'm shopping less. I'm just so unmotivated to shop right now.
