The Greatest Show on Earth...The Greatest Coat Sale too!!!

The Barnum and Bailey Circus came to our town last weekend! Maison refused to take a nap that day and I was a little concerned about how she would hold up since we had tickets for the 7pm show. She had a blast! The bag full of cotton candy and funnel cake she ate gave her the sugar boost she needed to make it through the show. Her eyes filled with amazement as she watched the acrobats and dancers, tigers and elephants, and of course the clowns.

Haircut update!

For those of you who don't know, my daughter gave herself a haircut to top off 2008. (See the blog post below.)

What do you do with a do like that? You go with it!!! A friend of mine, Debbie, owns a salon/boutique so I brought Maison in to see her and we decided, along with Maison who definitely had an opinion on what she wanted, that we were going to go with the punk rocker style she initiated. Check out Maison's awesome hair cut and color. Yes, color. Not just any color, but pink and purple. I can not even tell you how happy Maison is about her fabulous hair and the whole experience. Maison has agreed to let Debbie do the cutting from now on. The color will wash out and the hair will grow back, but the memories we have will never fade.
